In 2015, Freeport became the first community in Maine to implement a Solarize program, which promotes bulk purchasing of solar for its residents. Vaughan Woodruff, owner of Insource Renewables, will discuss the national Solarize movement, how the program was implemented in Freeport, and opportunities to utilize similar efforts in other communities.
